University Hospital in Istanbul

Medipol Mega University Hospital started providing health services in July 2012. It consists of 5 main complexes such as General Surgery Hospital, Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, Oncology Hospital, Dentistry Hospital and Additional Services Building.

It has capacity 810 beds for hospital care. As an example, there are 127 intensive care units comprising 39 general care units, 53 newborns, 26 cardiovascular intensive care units and 9 coronary intensive care units. The hospital provides services with 260 outpatient rooms, 25 operating rooms and includes 58 departments or disciplines and their sub-branches. Considering its entire capacity, it is the largest private university hospital in our country.

The total staff strength of the hospital is 3,002 people and there are 315 doctors.

After its commissioning, the hospital received accreditation certification in a short time of quality from the Joint Commission International (JCI). At the same time, it received "JCI Academic Accreditation", which has been put into practice since 2013 by JCI for hospitals carrying out educational and scientific work, and Medipol Mega University Hospital became the first accredited hospital in Turkey .
