To obtain a panoramic X-ray of your teeth, you can consult your dentist or general practitioner to get a prescription for this radiological exam. Once you have the prescription, you can go to a medical imaging center near you to get the X-ray done.
Is a prescription mandatory for a panoramic X-ray?
In Europe, a prescription is generally not required as the radiologist is considered the prescriber of the radiological procedure.
How much does a dental panoramic X-ray cost?
The standard european rate for a dental panoramic X-ray is €30 to €50, but some practitioners may charge additional fees, which could bring the cost higher. Your health insurance will usually cover totally or at least partially this cost.
Digitizing your dental X-ray to send it to us
We recommend asking for the digital version of your dental X-ray from the radiology clinic to simplify the sending process. The imaging center are accustomed to this request and can provide your X-rays in digital form, either on a CD or via email.

If you have your exam in the form of a radiograph, you can digitize it by placing it in front of your computer screen with a blank page displayed using a camera or smartphone, without flash, and then send it to us by email.
