How to recognize a liposuction indication?

Liposuction allows the permanent elimination of localized fat deposits. These localized fatty accumulations are called "Lipomeries". Liposuction is used to eliminate these lipomeries in order to regain a sculpted silhouette. This doesn't necessarily mean a slim silhouette, but rather recreating the shapes that the patient wants to achieve.

If you want to sculpt your body, refine your thighs, eliminate residual fat on the belly, or get rid of the infamous "saddlebags". Liposuction is often the right solution. More info on liposuction

What Solutions to Help with Weight Loss?

When the indication for liposuction is not validated, in general, our practitioners suggest bariatric solutions. Solutions like gastric balloon for overweight and sleeve for obesity are proven and systemic solutions (which will have an impact on the entirety of the body and its functioning).

Weight losses can range from 10% to over 40% for extreme cases. Weight loss is comprehensive, not just surface-level (as with liposuction). When we receive requests for liposuction that do not align (if you're ultimately not a suitable candidate for liposuction), our practitioners primarily propose the 6-month or 1-year gastric balloon solution, which results in immediate and lasting weight loss.
